The FlowCam® 8000 series
The FlowCam 8000 series includes theFlowCam 8100, FlowCam 8400, FlowCam Cyanoand FlowCam LO.
The FlowCam 8100 is the most popular instrument of the Yokogawa Fluid Imaging Technologies product range.
This advanced dynamic image particle analysis system delivers high resolution pictures, over 40 morphological parameters as well as precise counts and sizes of the measured particles.
It offers a very convenient operation with features such as automated focusing, automated sample processing and a self-cleaning program. It is configurable to individual needs:
The FlowCam 8400 provides all features of the 8100, but is equipped with an additional laser, which allows for 2-channel fluorescence measurements. Three excitation lasers with different wavelengths are available and are combined with two fluorescence detectors:
The VisualSpreadsheet® software, included with every FlowCam, enables automatic particle characterization for sub-micron particles, using >40 morphological parameters. Create custom libraries for the different types of particles you encounter and let the image recognition software automatically group your measured particles and provide you with statistics, such as concentrations and particle counts.
